I have a lot of Thanksgiving pictures to post and a lot of Black Friday goodies to scrap with, but I am in the process of moving – tomorrow morning – and it will be awhile. Ideally, I will take a lot of pictures of the move and scrap those, but who knows how that will play out in real life.
My favorite thing about this picture is the red ears from playing football outside. More to come (eventually).

In other news, I’ve apparently stoppped doing my 365 project. Which is lame, but I realized that I like the digiscrapping more than I like photography –which is not to say that I don’t like photography or that it’s unimportant to me. Maybe I’ll do 365 in 2012? Or not. I’m still finding my way.
I almost didn’t have a picture today. It’s the 21st day – supposedly if I make it through today, I’ve formed a new habit, but if I let it drop today I may never get back to it. The problem isn’t that I didn’t take any pictures. I took several. We’re getting ready to move and I photographed stuff as I was packing. My idea was that I could label the boxes with the number of the photo of the box and then I could see what’s inside each box without even being in the room the box is in. Then I could just look at my photos and decide what needs unpacked right away and what can wait. I didn’t want to use any of the pictures because I’ve already used a picture of a box when I packed away Halloween stuff and also because every day from now until the move could be a picture of boxes.
So…I cheated. I actually snapped this shot yesterday as my husband was leaving for work. The sky looked dramatic, which is what I was trying to capture (all the sky photos simply looked gray). A few hours later there was a terrible thunderstorm and tornado sirens went off (again – welcome to Ohio).
This was a freebie quickpage from Lien at MScraps. I added a computer mouse from Deca Designs for The Digi Files #35. I had been looking over my archives from the blog I kept in 2009, the year my children’s feet became as big as my own. I was so glad I’d blogged these pictures and it made me want to keep blogging (I’ve been taking a “short break” that turned into a year and a half).
